I had Endomondo before and switched. At first, I didn't care for it, but now I like it a lot better. I couldn't do 1/4, but now I can. The voice tells me how I'm doing pretty well. Endomondo though had more choices for activities than Map My Run. Since I walk on our own trails I've also noticed a difference in the GPS mileage between the 2, I just don't know which one is more accurate. All in all, I do like the app. Over 5 years later and I'm still using it and happy with the app.

The app works well to track runs and even provides a map, keeps track of pace and time, and it has never crashed. I've been using it for about a year now, and I haven't felt the need to try a different app for tracking runs. You can even add friends and post to a feed that your friends can view and comment on. It's kind of like Facebook, but for running!

Incredibly inaccurate app over all. Very clunky. Inaccurate maps. Strata is 100% better than this pile of junk. Tried to get a refund as I wasn't aware I'd subscribed for it, but the company is probably so desperate for funds, they wouldn't even return my money. Would give it 0* if I could. Please be aware that it feels like a bit of a desperate company.

I considered one star but the app actually does some stuff right from what I can tell. It's not my "go to" app, and only got a 2-star rating from me, because in the 3+ years I've had the app it has NEVER said that my cadence was within target range. Not once! I'm not a novice, albeit not an elite runner either. If the app is always wrong about my cadence, what else is it consistently wrong about?

As soon as I created an account there was a bombardment of "BUY ME". I understand the reason of some running apps needing a source of payment. BUT. This is not some specialized app. Does the basic tracking and logging. Prices are ridiculous for that. Would have considered it, but the constant "BUY ME" pop-ups. yeah this app just wants your money. Highly recommend a different running app. Especially if you take running and tracking seriously. Spend your money elsewhere. This is just a money grab.
