Marbling Art

Ebru brings the centuries-old Turkish art of paper marbling to your phone and tablet. A real-time water simulation lets colors spread, flow and blend on the surface just as they do in a traditional marbling tray. Drop the paint, draw it with a stylus, comb it, and create your own one-of-a-kind ebru pattern.

REALISTIC MARBLING ON WATER
• Paint spreads naturally across the water and is shaped by fluid motion.
• Drops push each other outward; every new drop gently widens the one before it.
• Drops carry a water texture with fine veins, just like real ebru.
• Stir the water with your touch and watch the colors flow into one another.

TOOLS
• Mix: Move the water with your finger to make the colors ripple.
• Spray: Spray colored paint onto the water.
• Drop: Place drops one by one to build classic stone-pattern (battal) grounds.
• Pen: Draw fine, controlled lines of paint.
• Adjust the brush size and texture amount as you like.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone who loves marbling, wants to relax with art, or enjoys experimenting with new patterns. Marbling artists can use it as a sketchbook for trying out designs, and beginners can discover the magic of ebru without a tray, paints or supplies.

Pick up your brush, touch the water and let the colors dance.
