Although skeptical about online insurance, this one has surprised me. Everything is so easy and straightforward. The app has everything you need, and you can contact the chatbot if you have a query, and it is dealt with promptly. For example, monthly payment going to be late ? This was no problem and an extension was put in place with ease. I will CERTAINLY be staying with them when my renewal comes around.

Avoid Marshmallow if you value your insurance record. I reported a minor error in my day of birth immediately. They corrected it, increased my premium by £36.77, issued amended documents and allowed cover to start. Days later, they reversed their decision, cancelled the policy and charged £130. I was left facing insurer-initiated cancellation, serious financial loss and replacement quotes of £2,900–£3,000. Worst insurance experience I have had in Britain.

Terrible experience with this company. Contacted to cancel within the 14-day cool off period, and they were helpful, and I thought that was it. Had an email 3 weeks later saying my next payment was due in 7 days, I contacted them to say the policy had been cancelled, but it turns out it wasn't. Now I've been charged £75 cancellation fee! Absolutely shocking to deal with when it's all done over messages. Avoid.
