I have been using the app since the beta for more than a year and the web version for even longer. It has helped me a lot to learn Japanese, especially for someone who generally struggles a lot with studying in general. Due to the grammar being written in a way that's entertaining to read I don't struggle as much to keep focusing. From the many different apps and books that I have tried, MacRumors has definitely gotten me the furthest.
