Maskmoji: hide face in video

Need to hide a face in a video before you post to Reels, Shorts, stories, or social feeds? Maskmoji finds faces with on-device AI — processing stays on your phone, with no cloud upload. The same AI helps you hide faces in photos: one app for long clips and stills.

Hide faces in video
• On-device AI finds faces and tracks them frame to frame — masks follow head and camera movement
• "Find faces": choose who to hide and who stays visible — or keep yourself open and cover others
• Save frequent faces to a library; AI recognizes them in later clips and speeds up tracking
• Video modes:
— emoji: 140+ stickers (faces, animals, objects)
— colored and clear pixelation with adjustable intensity
— colored and clear blur with adjustable intensity
— solid color fill with transparency control
• Manual boxes when auto-detect misses or you need extra coverage
• Timeline montage — adjust effects on a segment without rebuilding the whole video
• Long clips process in the background — minimize the app; notification when finished

Hide faces in photos
• On-device AI auto-detects faces on stills
• Same modes: 140+ emoji, colored/clear pixelation and blur with intensity, fill with transparency
• Manual boxes, resize, save to a folder or share to messengers and social apps

Cover faces for privacy without a cloud service — blur passersby, pixelate colleagues, or use emoji in stories. Everything runs offline; photos and videos are not uploaded to a server. No cloud AI.

Who it’s for
• Creators posting Shorts, Reels, and TikTok who need faces hidden before upload
• Families filming kids, relatives, or bystanders who want faces covered before sharing
• Work and school clips where some people stay visible and others should not
• Photos: hide a face in one tap or fine-tune boxes by hand

Maskmoji Pro is a one-time purchase — removes ads only; features stay the same.

Install Maskmoji and hide faces on videos and photos in a few taps.

Limitations
Auto face search works best on sharp frames and normal lighting. Profile views, very small faces, heavy blur, or poor light may be missed or falsely detected. Add or adjust boxes manually when needed. Review the result before publishing — Maskmoji does not replace a quick visual check.
