Description

Essere una traccia di profonda attenzione, vicinanza e prossimità ai giovani, offrendo loro alcune proposte concrete, per costruire insieme un “segno” e, allo stesso tempo, realizzare un “sogno”.

Da questo slancio di visione, nasce nel 2008 a Matera, la cooperativa OLTRE L’ARTE, per intraprendere la strada del “fare impresa” avendo come “bussola” del proprio agire quotidiano non solo il profitto, ma anche e soprattutto i valori della integrazione di soggetti svantaggiati, l’inserimento delle donne nel mondo lavorativo, l’attenzione verso un turismo accessibile a tutti, la proposta di itinerari turistici arricchiti dalla riscoperta della spiritualità dei luoghi e della storia.

Oggi OLTRE L’ARTE conta oltre 50 dipendenti, impegnati principalmente in un settore strategico dell’economia di Matera e della Basilicata: il turismo.

La Coop. OLTRE L’ARTE nasce proprio da una intuizione della Chiesa Italiana, il “Progetto Policoro”, pensato per favorire l’inserimento dei giovani nel mondo del lavoro con un approccio nuovo, non necessariamente legato alla logica di un “posto fisso”, quanto piuttosto alla capacità di dare valore alle competenze dei singoli, che messe in comune – secondo la logica propria della cooperativa – diventano un patrimonio prezioso.

OLTRE L’ARTE è il frutto di un desiderio condiviso da alcuni ragazzi, desiderosi di investire su se stessi per creare una nuova realtà lavorativa nel proprio territorio.

Anche il nome stesso – Oltre l’Arte – fa riferimento alla vocazione fondamentale della cooperativa: valorizzare i beni storico-artistici di carattere religioso del territorio materano, andando “oltre l’arte”, ossia restituendo il valore spirituale di questo patrimonio, sempre attenti ad offrire ai turisti una accoglienza calorosa ed un servizio di qualità.
