Remember! This wall needs to have location and weather in KLWP working in order to fully animate and show weather. So check weather provider and location settings in KLWP if the wall doesn't show weather animations

The update broke the wallpaper

Was good. Now after the update, all my work customising it is gone. Nice going. You clearly did something wrong as even my backups don't work. All images are gone. Maybe it's klwp, but this only happened after updating this specific app.
