Maths & English - FS L1 & L2

Maths & English - FS L1 & L2 is a revision app for adults and young people working towards Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English at Level 1 and Level 2.

STUDY
13 study chapters with 38 short lessons explain each topic step by step: place value and rounding, fractions, decimals and percentages, ratio and scale, measures, shape and data, formulas and graphs; spelling, punctuation and grammar, reading and analysing texts, and writing for a purpose. Most lessons include quick check questions as you go.

PRACTISE
190 practice sets with 2,276 exam-style questions set in everyday situations: bills, recipes, timetables, letters and notices. Every question has a worked explanation, so you see how to reach the answer, not just whether you were right.

SIT A MOCK EXAM
Four full timed mock exams (Level 1 and Level 2, Maths and English) and 57 shorter timed papers on single topics. At the end you see your score, what you got wrong and the right answers.

REVISE
54 flashcard decks with 1,074 cards for the facts, rules and conversions worth remembering, with due cards brought back for review.

KEEP GOING
A daily challenge question, daily and weekly homework targets, optional study reminders and progress tracking.

READ IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE
The lessons and questions are written in English, like the exam. A built-in reading aid can add a translated line under each line of English, for example in Arabic, Bengali, Polish or Urdu, so learners whose first language is not English can study the English with support. The menus and buttons are available in more than 40 languages.

The app is free with ads. A one-off in-app purchase removes the ads. Study works offline and no account is needed.

This app is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any awarding organisation.
