★★★★★ Digital artist and automation not here. Given all the programs I have to use and the amount of repetition involved in some pipelines, I tend to do rather extensive scripts and macros where ever possible using Voice Bot, Key text, Macro keyboards and mice. -------- Roccat's Power-Grid has also been a much used main tool I've used for years and for which I've been looking for a replacement lately. --------- After trying several apps, Matrix stood out as the best solution and even worked right out of the box. ----------- PROs: 1 IT JUST WORKS! 2. Easy to use. 3. Flexible way to switch between pages compared to Power grid. 4. Clean interface, everything is easy to use and understand. 5. Decent macro recorder. ----------- CONs: 1. Wish macros allowed for more flexibility, ideally just typing in the macro similar to Power grid (p for press, t for typed text, numbers for milliseconds, u and d for Up and down press etc.). Complex or well-timed macros often require more adjusting than possible. 2. Adding to point 1 Wish TEXT could be part of a macro, rather than it having to be used in the Primary action with 'Send to Clipboard' and then pasted with CTRL+V as part of the macro in the Secondary action. 3. It's all very GRAY !! 4. As a visual artist, the included button designs look like 90s graphics, outdated... which is somewhat fine as I have my own sets, but make the app feel a bit like a toy and make a somewhat poor first impression. 5. No way to colorize/tint buttons (Background images) forcing you to create and import all the different colors you want (for which I need to create extra PS actions!. 6. Wish you could import a button background and then an icon that's displayed on top, rather than again, having to export all unique images with the background already on it. Makes it less flexible. ------------------ TL;DR -> Works great out of the box, quite flexible with decent macro capabilities compared to competitors. Would be even better if I could also Type, not just record macros. Included button templates are visually lacking falling behind the times and app limitations make creating your own colored buttons more work than it should be. --------------- Overall, a quite solid app!

★★★★★ Fantastic app to use as a macro pad. While the software is not quite as slick as something like Steam deck (you can't copy/paste buttons, or move then around easily by dragging on over the other) it's still very serviceable and there is more you can do with it. Being able to add dials is a great feature, meaning it's great for color adjustments or changing brush sizes. I also love that you can size the buttons from very small to very big. Easy to set up and use between multiple systems. Use your phone (or grab a cheap 2nd one) and a stand, and you have a wireless, smaller, cheaper and slicker looking Steam deck XL with as many, or more, buttons.

★★☆☆☆ Appears to be a functional well-designed app. I looked all around both apps & the website to find a price for the full version, found nothing. Spent 4 hours putting together controls for old Windows game. Then I get hit with the paywall? Total bait & switch. Be upfront with your pricing it appears worth it, but I'll never find out.

★★☆☆☆ Cool app but nowhere does it mention that it costs money. No info on their website or in the app description. Had to find out the hard way after wasting an hour try to get it set up. Max of 6 buttons on a single page unless you pay.

★★☆☆☆ Tried the free bits. Liked it, so paid to unlock everything. Worked well, built my custom deck, tests all did well, all features worked well in OBS. The next day I went to stream, the program on the PC side kept losing the connection to OBS. I'd get it to work for a bit, and then I'd go to change scene & it wouldn't work. The mobile app & the pc app saw each other but pc app kept losing OBS. My viewers said screw it & bought me a real stream deck instead. LoL
