I love the app so much. I paid for the lifetime version, and it's worth the price. But, for the examples of the 'on-yomi' in kanji section, it only includes examples with the kanji (you're currently searching) at the front of the word. Can you include example words with the kanji at the back of the word please? Ex: The kanji 味. It's examples only include 味方、味噌󠄀。But no you get what I mean. Thank you very much! I'll update the review to 5 star, if this feedback is heard 😁

Thank you for the developer reply, I didn't realize there's a pause feature on tests. Pretty good despite the free limitations. 3 free tests per JLPT level. Might be worth it to buy premium later. Although it would also be nice to have additional rotating tests for both free and premium to keep things fresh.

Well this WAS the best translation app I've ever encountered, until they decided to become EXTREMELY GREEDY in the most recent update and drastically limit handwriting search unless you want to pay $60. This is insane levels of greed. This was the best translation app I knew of for accurate translations and detecting handwriting. Absolute shame on the developers! It doesn't even detect if I've actually made a search or not properly, so I waste my searches if I click off the handwriting screen!

Since the update features missing. The app used to allow you to translate or capture whole sentences in Japanese and add them to study cards. This has been removed. It was my go to for flash card studying. I guess I paid for an app that loses features over time.

Used to be a good dictionary app, but they've progressively introduced more AI into their services which has diminished the overall quality of the app for the sake of profit I assume. On that note, they now make you pay separately for normal subscriptions and ones that allows for using the AI features. So, I can no longer use the "grammar check" feature as of May 23, 2026, with a lifetime account when I COULD do so not but a few days ago. They've priced me out of something I already had!

I actually regret paying premium for this app. I could freely use the voice translate to sentences before paying, after which they are forcing you to upgrade further to AI mode, total in fact would be $60+ to use all their features. Disappointing.
