An excellent calculator This is an excellent scientific calculator that contains most, if not all, the features that a serious user will want. It supports user-defined variables, user-defined formulae, and one-variable functions. Variables, formulae and functions that are created, persist when the calculator is exited. They can also be edited. It also supports 2D graphs and enables the user to calculate roots and extrema of functions. Another very welcome feature is that the user can recall the previous 5 expressions in the history list (which also persists when the calculator is exited). It has an extensive Help document that explains usage of the calculator in detail. This calculator is in the top 5 scientific calculators in the Android market. It is well thought-out, fast, easy to use, and has an attractive UI (the user can chose between two different UIs and calculator sizes). The developer should be congratulated for producing a superb app. Highly recommended.

Un-programmable and confusing calculator I didn't, have the brain-power available to attempt anything. So far every one I have tried is bullshit - bar Panecal, which is all you need unless you want the un-obtainable -programmability !! There are several Graphing calculators which will draw the graph any function of x you want - for what that is worth, but common functions are well-known and you don't need a graph. "Graphing" facility is no replacement for some small measure of programmability - finding a solution - when really stuck - (which I never have been in 50 years !! -) to differential equations, for example - or making an arithmetic model of a proposed physical system. Another example was when I cracked a 4 x 4 "Magic number square" back in '84 with the best ever programmable calculator - Casio's (n/l/a) Fx702P, with 22 char Alpha-numeric display. I seem to remember it involved some collusion with the determinant formula given in their manual for a 4x4 matrix. Fret not though, the march of time - and some heros somewhere - has brought us "DosBox" - and "anDosBox" in particular, for Android - we now have the entire Qbasic** itself ! - So what are we waiting-for - Christmas ?!
