I was looking to check if this media player would reduce the latency issue I am facing using Android Media player on rtsp protocol. I tried to use this application and play from a Wi-Fi Camera that runs on rtsp and failed to get it working. It seems it only supports http based urls. I also tried writing an application using the "net.protyposis.android.media player. VideoView" and passing the rtsp:// url. It seems to get stuck at MediaExtractor.java. The same works fine on the Android Video view but has a latency. Can send you the error log if required.

Scale for portrait video doesn't work When you try to speed up vertical video, scale of it becomes different. Please fix it, app will have 5 stars
