Description
Marcus Aurelius Meditations were written as a source of guidance and self-improvement. Written across 12 books, his writings range from short sentences to longer musings. Although he probably never intended for his work to be published and read by anyone other than himself, his views and musings provide an insight into stoicism and stoic philosophy. With this simple, easy to use app, your daily dose of stoicism is just one tap away.
Stoicism is a school of philosophy which has its roots in the early Ancient Greek and Roman societies. Stoicism is a system of logic concerning personal ethics. Stoics believe happiness is found in the current moment and by not allowing oneself to be controlled by a desire for pleasure or fear of pain. Marcus Aurelius was a practitioner of stoicism and is considered by many to be one of the first great stoics.

The app is well done, easy to navigate. I think it doesn't have ads which is great! I think this is the first time in my life I see an app without ads! Sadly, I'm not a fan of the translation used; that "Biblical English" is not very easy to read for me :(

Not able to save my progress and impossible to navigate in each book. Also, every time device is locked and unlocked, it goes to first meditation.

"2 exceptions occurred" message every time I open it, never finishes part the opening screen of Marcus's statue.
