This app is based on website www.meerananda.org which includes various messages and thoughts based on the theroy and principles of Shrimad Bhagvat Gita.

The purpose of this web site is to present the knowledge of true Love.
True Love is universal, just like the color of cows' milk. No matter which cow you get the milk from, it is always white! Just the same, all faiths have produced messengers of this Supreme Love. It is remarkably universal! So true Love is not a monopoly of one religion or place. It belongs to all. It is accessible to all like the rays of the sun.
Such Love cannot be touched, seen or heard. It has no name or form. It cannot even be defined in words. It is beyond our senses. Yet it can be experienced in our heart.
True love is not lust. Love doesn't require wealth, beauty, knowledge or intellect. Everyone can't be equally wealthy, beautiful, knowledgeable, intellectual or powerful. However, everyone has an equally infinite capacity to love and an infinite capacity to be humble.
It does not depend on whether one accepts this fact or not; the fact remains like the Sun by its own power and energy.
To understand such Love, one has to understand its definition. We have to weigh our preconceptions of love against this definition of absolute Love.
Mere understanding and knowledge just for the sake of intellect is vain. It only satisfies the ego. One has to practice this knowledge to benefit. This world is made to use and enjoy. Proper understanding is to know that it exists as a part of us and we are part of it. It is created for our joy but not at the cost of others. In fact, we are made to offer our lives to others, but not vice-versa. All great teachers of Truth and Love have been unanimous in this fact.
