MelBet

MelBet is a hockey coaching app for planning practices, drawing drills
and running the bench on game day. It is built for head coaches, assistant
coaches and skills coaches who need the practice plan, the drill board and the
line chart in one place — on the ice, with gloves on, with no signal in the
rink. Everything lives on the phone and works completely offline.

Open the app and the dashboard shows the next practice, your teams and one-tap
access to the drill board and the timer. Build a practice by picking drills from
your library, setting the time for each block and moving the blocks into order.
Draw the drill itself on a rink diagram with players, opponents, pucks, cones,
passes, skating paths and text labels. Set your lines once, then switch to Bench
Mode behind the boards: current line, next line, shift clock, one tap to roll
the lines. Save coaching notes after the session while they are still fresh.

KEY FEATURES
✓ Drill board — draw on a full rink, half rink or offensive zone with players, opponents, goalies, pucks, cones, arrows, passes, skating paths, puck-carry lines and text, with undo and redo
✓ Drill library — save your own drills with category, difficulty, duration, tags and coaching points; search them, mark favorites, duplicate them. Seven starter drills are included and every one of them can be edited or deleted
✓ Practice builder — assemble a session from your drills, set each block's duration, reorder or duplicate blocks, and see the total practice time update as you go
✓ Line builder — four forward lines, three defense pairs, two goalies, plus PP1, PP2, PK1, PK2 and OT units, saved separately for games and for practices
✓ Bench / shift mode — current and next line side by side, a running shift clock, and a single tap to rotate to the next line
✓ Practice timer — a straight countdown for drill blocks, or interval mode with work time, rest time and a round count for conditioning
✓ Teams and players — rosters with numbers and positions that feed straight into your lines
✓ Coaching notes — short notes filed by category, so what you spotted on game day does not get lost

HOW IT WORKS
1. Add your team and roster.
2. Create drills and draw them on the rink board.
3. Build a practice from those drills and set the timing.
4. Set your lines for the game.
5. Run the timer at practice and Bench Mode during the game.

WHY MelBet
It is made to be used standing at the bench, not sitting at a desk. Large tap
targets, a dark high-contrast theme that stays readable under rink lighting, and
the actions a coach reaches for most sit one to three taps from the home
screen. There is no sign-up and nothing to sync, so the app opens straight into
your own data — at the rink, on the bus, in the room.

PRIVACY
MelBet works fully offline. It requests no permissions at all and has no
internet access, so nothing can leave the device. Your teams, drills, practices,
lines and notes are stored locally on your phone. No account, no tracking, no
ads, no in-app purchases.
