To create music you need three components: Melody, Rhythm, and Harmony. Wonderful app but can we not have our own chord progression and then melody is generated as per the progression instead of melody based on scales? Melody based on scales is not really useful than chord progression of a song idea

I just downloaded the app and was able to create two new melodies of my own in 5 minutes without any tutorial. For me, it is intuitive. I don't imagine I will use the automatic melody generator, but will likely use the manual mode very often to create new song ideas. Thank you for the amazing app!

I can't change pentatonic major to major, it just doesn't update. Why is pentatonic major the default anyway? Edit: I don't think I can reply to your comment but if you do read this, I know about the setting. That setting didn't work, I saved the changes, but it didn't actually apply. When I leave the settings screen then come back, the scale appears as pentatonic major again.

I created about a hundred rock melodies, but they were completely random sounds. Not catchy at all. It sounded like a drunk jazz man improvisations rather than a rock melody. What you need is an algorithm that would make it work with more sense and keep it to some rock sounding melody patterns.

When I open app I am stuck in tutorial, the "next" section at bottom is grayed out. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, does anybody know what the issue is?
