Generally Accurate Forecast! Today, there are no Maps, and the rain radar is incredibly useful and is reasonably accurate. What happened? Please bring it back!

Updated review. The responsiveness since the major change has been improved substantially. Reaching what I consider the defining feature of met office's offering, the (time) scrollable weather map for e.g. rainfall, is much better now than immediately after the update but remains more effort than in previous offering. Deserves more than 2/5 given immediately after the revamp but missing star is from knowing it has been better (for me) in the past... perhaps if users could reorganize widgets?

The Met Office moving rain map has been removed. This was about the only useful feature of this app.

This app gets worse and worse with every update. How is that possible? You used to be able to compare the hourly weather forecast of multiple locations on the same screen. This feature was removed in early 2026 and has not returned. Now the weather map has been removed or moved, so checking how accurate rain forecasts are is now even harder. When designed a new app why are you removing already existing features!? Find a third party weather app that uses met data and delete this terrible app.
