Am Loving it playing the classics Metal Gear Solid 2 in HD at full 60fps on the Shield TV (Wish it was on the Shield Tablet as well) am Loving it, there was a little bug on the activation but it sorted it self out, after playing this am hoping KONAMI will also port Metal Gear Solid 4 and 3 to the Shield Tablet and TV. Unlikely they would port Phantom Pain XD. Never the less awesome job guys.

Great game, but this is a lazy port plagued with unplayable FPS drop at times. e.g. Some of the key moments in the game, such as scripted fight scenes, busier scenes, and most boss battles all have *significant* slowdowns, we're talking single digit framerates. For example, when you're fighting off enemies with Snake in that circular room after getting the sword, the framerate is literally probably like 5 FPS. Five. Not kidding either. My Shield is set to Performance mode with the fan mode set to Cool. So if you want to play one of the best games of all time but have some of the key moments of the game drop to single digit framerates, then by all means buy this.

I am currently unable to play this due to DRM, servers are not validating and so the game is not even launching. I have played this game on PS2 PS3 and PS Vita, I have never experienced any DRM issues with those versions. Do not buy a Shield if you are expecting to play any of the Metal Gear games.
