MeteoVeo: weather & radar

MeteoVeo tells you what the weather is doing where you are, now and over the next few hours, from what is actually being measured: radar, lightning and the weather stations around you.

NEXT HOURS, RECALCULATED EVERY 10 MINUTES
For the next three hours MeteoVeo runs its own calculation ("MeteoVeo calculation") from radar, lightning detection and nearby stations, refreshed every 10 minutes. You can see which station measured your temperature and how far away it is. In our comparisons, during the first hour this calculation tends to land closer to what the stations go on to measure than a conventional hourly forecast does; beyond two or three hours it does not, which is where the forecast takes over.

OFFICIAL WARNINGS, UNCHANGED
Weather warnings are AEMET's, Spain's national meteorological service, shown as issued and split by day: today, tomorrow and the day after, with the zone map for all of Spain. If you wish, get a notification when the warning for your zone or a saved place changes. MeteoVeo does not issue warnings of its own.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?
What your neighbours are seeing, right now: photos of the sky and of weather phenomena sent in by the community, reviewed, with a report button. Browse the gallery or tell us what you see: pick what is happening and add a photo if you like. Your exact location is never published: on the map it is rounded to 500 metres.

FORECAST
Hour by hour, and AEMET's daily forecast for the coming days, with rain probability and wind.

WIDGETS
Six home-screen widgets: the measured temperature, the next hours and the coming days.

YOUR ACCOUNT
Sign in with Google, Apple, a passkey or a password. Save your places (your town, work, the country house) and choose which ones you want warnings for.

STATIONS
If you have a weather station, you can connect it to MeteoVeo and its data becomes part of the network.

All of Spain, including the Canary and Balearic Islands. In Spanish, Valencian and English.

Every figure says where it comes from: which station, how far away, and from when. And when the uncertainty is large, you can see that too.
