The Metro drummer metronome apps let you play the drummer (beats) with other musical apps like the Perfect Piano App (Chord Mode) while using a single smartphone. You can play both apps simultaneously while controlling the volume (loudness) of the drum beats. I find it useful as a musician who can sing and play Perfect Piano (chords) while having a virtual drummer accompanying me all the time. I can lead a small group of people singing without any musician around using a blue tooth speaker.

I enjoy jamming along with the realistic sounding drum loops, and it's so portable I can bring it anywhere. Once I have the tempo and rhythm figured out for a song I save it under USER with the song title and key. So convenient!

Cool program that could use a few more features to be perfect... - Needs a set list feature where you can build a set of songs, each containing the pattern and bpm, so you can cue up each song... Multiple song lists would be even better. - You should sell different drum kits that can be assigned as well (ideally you would be also be able to set the drum kit for a song in the set list). - There are 4 user slots... How do you build your own patterns and store them?

I have the paid version of the original Metro drummer, which according to the description, as new rhythm were created, they would be added to the app. I have been using it, occasionally, and I liked it, however for all this period, over 2 years, I never got one new rhythm added through update. When Metro drummer 2 came, I expected it would be a more robust app with more rhythm and, right away I bought it and, to my biggest disappointment, number 2 is exactly the same as number 1, except the color.

Started as a simple sequencer, now it is also a JPEG viewer with a majorly fugly interface. First version was awesome, the wireframe was actually usable, so we could design plugins that worked with any screen size. The latest wireframe is hilarious and doesn't stage correctly on about 50% devices.

I have the fully paid version 1 which I have enjoyed using for the last couple of years. It's a great app. We were promised that new styles would be added at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I never got any such updates, and now I have downloaded version 2 only to discover that you want me to pay for the whole thing all over again???!!! What a total CON JOB! No, Thanks and now I am rather pissed off.
