Comments on MetroFax - Fax From Phone App for Android
★★★★★
The app has some great features and is intuitive and easy to use. Customer service is difficult to access for anything meaningful. When I was being overbilled and had some problems with the app, my first attempt to access customer service got a response email telling me how to cancel my service. After a couple months, my issues were mostly resolved and I do like the service, both this app and the web interface as well as the ability to get faxes through email. It would easily be five stars if customer service didn't take a struggle to access
★★★★★
Great service. The simplicity of it, especially on the phone, is gratifying. No more clunky fax machines to deal with. Got the annual service and we've been putting it to use. Definitely worth it.
★★★★★
Exceptional faxing. I can fax from my laptop, desktop, or mobile. The service is convenient. You receive notification on when you receive a fax or when your fax has gone through. You also obtain a fax in your email inbox. This has served very useful as I'm always on the go. I can fax from anywhere. The monthly fee isn't a lot either.
★★☆☆☆
This app will make you sign up for a free trial and then make you jump through hoops to cancel your subscription, make it seem like you did cancel, then they will continue to charge you even after you thought you cancelled your subscription, and also make it next to impossible to actually get through to customers service to properly cancel your subscription. I would give this zero stars if I could and I want my money back. the way they make it so difficult to cancel your account is shady AF.
★★☆☆☆
How is it a "FREE TRIAL" if you're putting a HOLD on someone's credit card IMMEDIATELY? It's meant to mislead people. You sign up, they have your personal info to sale. They'll take the funds they claim they're holding. Legitimate companies that aren't running a scam don't put a hold on your card during the free trial. It's boarder line false advertising. They don't take the funds immediately, but you don't have access to those funds either because they're "holding" them. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
★★☆☆☆
I am not able to log in either by the fax # you assigned to me or my e-mail, I don't know what to do next, because your support team is not being very helpful, or it does not exist at all, please send me a link so I can log on to my account, Thanks
