Metropoline Public Transport

Metropoline Public Transportation Ltd was founded in 2000 by the Tour Bus Group, the Automotive
Equipment Group and Etgal Holdings for the purpose of taking an active part in the opening of the public
transportation market in Israel to competition.

The Tour Bus Group has been one of the leading transportation companies in Israel since the 1960’s.
The group operates a fleet of more than 300 buses of various types and sizes. In addition to its headquarters in Or-Yehuda (east of Tel-Aviv), the group has offices at the Ben-Gurion International Airport where it operates the transport services on the airside (from the terminal to the planes and back) and long-term parking. Tour Bus was certified for the ISO 9000:2002 standard in the year 2000.

The Automotive Equipment Group was founded in 1949 and is today one of the leading business groups
in the automotive field in Israel. The group's activities include the import and marketing of vehicles, spare parts and accessories, the assembly and modeling of special vehicles, fleet maintenance, the provision of financial services and real estate. The group is the sole representative in Israel of Chrysler (including Dodge and Jeep) Suzuki and Porsche,and of heavy mechanical equipment manufactured by Yale and Komatsu. The group is also the exclusive importer and distributor of Bridgestone and Firestone tires and rubber products. The Automotive Equipment Group also distributes and markets vehicles assembled at its plant for the civilian market as well as for the military market. The company has been certified for the ISO 9002 standard since 1997.

Etgal Holdings is a private company specializing in the promotion and development of projects in the field of
infrastructure and transportation. The company's principal specialty is in managing BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) type projects. Etgal manages numerous projects in the fields of energy, wastewater treatment and desalination in the framework of various partnerships that it has established. Additionally, Etgal manages an investment company in the fields of infrastructure and technology (Etgal Gmul).
Since 2002, Metropoline has been operating the intercity bus service from Tel-Aviv to Beer-Sheva and the Negev, offering 30 routes and serving approx.

10 million passengers every year. In the last 5 years, Metropoline has been constantly growing, and is currently expecting another substantial growth in the near future.
Together with its skillful and experienced staff and drivers, Metropoline helps bringing The Negev and the periphery closer to the Tel-Aviv metropolitan area. With its unprecedented high quality of service, low prices and over 100 modern buses, the public is at the top of Metropolines’ concerns. The company has
developed and uses a wide range of high technology systems for the benefit, safety and security of its customers, ranging from GPS based Real Time information systems, panic alarms, accident prevention systems and more.

In 2003, the Metropoline Group, together with other partners, formed Metrodan Beer Sheva Ltd which in
October 2003 was awarded the tender for operating the public transportation in Beer-Sheva. Metrodan operates 95 buses in 19 city lines and serves over 20 million passengers a year.
