Metroshuttle Manchester (BETA) is a FREE travel app designed to make travel on Manchester’s FREE Metroshuttle buses easy and relaxing. With involvement and official support from Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) this app is the prototype for features that we are working on for ALL Manchester’s public transport services. Metroshuttles are FREE buses linking the main rail stations, car parks, shopping areas and businesses in Manchester city centre. Metroshuttle buses run from Piccadilly, Salford Central, Victoria, Oxford Road and Deansgate rail stations. The App allows you to: - Easily locate your nearest Metroshuttle bus-stop - Easily see your accurate real-time location when on route (without GPS battery drain or data connectivity) - Easily set bus-stop alerts for where you want to get off - Easily see major points of interest on the interactive map The app is a Beta release so we invite feedback via Google Play and directly via email to Apps@TfGM.com

Very useful Tried this out today when using route number 3. Tracked the location of the bus very well. I set an alert for the stop I wanted and that also worked very well. Well worth keeping on my phone for the odd occasion I go into Manchester. Only downside is that it seemed to consume quite alot of battery power whilst tracking my bus journey.

Excellent Brilliant and well thought out little app, if I was new to Manchester and didn't know the bus routes it would be invaluable. If the buses carried trackers so their position showed on the map (so you could see where the next one currently was) it would be perfect.

Always Crash This app I presume should be a handy tool that st least guarantee you not crash when you're doing your enquiries. Unfortunately, it's always crashing which makes this app totally unusable. I just did a two-day trip to Manchester and this app never worked properly. I can't imagine how can an app like this helps people who live in Manchester?

It could be good but... I can't zoom in so the map is totally unreadable. My phone is a nexus 5 so pretty standard. Last update to this app was February 2013 - not exactly an active project then!

Doesn't work The app is useless, no labels from what I can see, no zoom although I did manage to zoom out but couldn't zoom back in. Completely useless even if it is in beta. I've seen better alpha apps
