Description by pes-dev Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
Shopkeeper by day. Deckbuilder by night.
Midnight Mart is a first-person convenience store sim fused with a roguelike deckbuilder. Every night you pick cards that rewrite the rules of the next business day.
DAY: keep the shop running for three minutes
- Open the morning deliveries and stock the shelves.
- Tap the barcode on each item at the register. Hit it dead-center to keep your combo going and earn tips.
- Let the line grow and customers walk out. Spot a shoplifter? Throw whatever you're holding.
NIGHT: design tomorrow with cards
- Spend the day's cash on new cards and burn the ones you don't need.
- Supply contracts, machines, expansions and store policies change what you sell, what it costs and who walks in.
- Place machines on the actual shop floor. Put the right ones side by side for a price boost, but crowd the aisles and business slows down.
RENT: due every five days
- Pay it to reach the next stage and grow your shop. Miss it and you're evicted.
- Short on cash? Take out a loan, with interest.
- Survive Stage 5 to see the ending, then keep going in endless mode.
- Lose a run and you still keep your best record and any starting stores you've unlocked.
What's inside
- 5 stages, an ending and endless mode
- 49 cards and 19 products
- 6 kinds of customers: office workers, trendsetters, impulse buyers, shoplifters, difficult customers and VIPs
- 8 market events, including heatwaves, crime waves, surprise health inspections and going viral
- 4 starting stores to unlock
- Automatic save every night
About sponsor ads
Optional rewarded ads appear in three places: redrawing your morning cards, seeing one more stage reward, and collecting a nightly sponsorship fee. You can play everything without watching a single ad, and you can turn sponsor offers off in Settings.
