★★★★★ Spent far less time on my phone this week. Minimalist Phone allows me to have a Smartphone I can use to listen to audiobooks and podcasts without getting lost in scrolling aimlessly on social media and news stories. I just blocked Chrome and internet search features. Very pleased with its affordability and function.

★★★★★ EDIT: The problem has been fixed and now it works great. Really helps you to curb your phone use and be more intentional with your phone. OLD: Great app but I've been having a problem where it'll take me to the home page and won't respond to me sliding to the app drawer. I can click on the apps in their usual spot, but the list is not rendered on my screen. (Apparently it's an issue with Android 14, so I still give it 5 stars)

★★☆☆☆ Bad starting interface, you don't really understand how the permission things work, it just shows you a bunch of apps and ask you to give permission, but they only require it for this app. Very weird interface Reply: I'm only talking about the interface and that it's weirdly designed, I didn't say that you violate any data protection rules. So I'm not spreading any misinformation lol. Better spend some time fixing your interface.

★★☆☆☆ Installing Minimalist phone was the WORST DECISION I'VE MADE IN YEARS! As soon as it's on, it seizes complete control of your phone. I'm trying to limit my phone usage, but I still need to be able to use my phone when I'm using it, so I tried to uninstall it. Not possible, not through ANY means they say you can. After the trial period ended I hoped to be rid of it but NO! It's STILL ACTIVE, just giving me a notification to "update payment plan". I WILL NOT edit: the answer below DOES NOT WORK

★★☆☆☆ It is not free. You have to pay to try. Why should I do that?
