I don't know why this wonderful app has so poor rating. This is very effective in understanding chord changes and strumming. Only, if there were an option to configure the strumming pattern, it would be very good. Considering going for the full version. Worth it.

Excellent app to hear variety of guitar rhythms for experiments and composing songs. However, one big missing feature is - option to preset chord progressions or set chords in a pattern to continue playing without user action.

I love the concept of this app, but I have to say, it falls short of my expectations. The way it's set up is, in my opinion as an aspiring bluegrass musician, inconvenient at best. There should be a way to pre-set the chords you need so that they play automatically. It's difficult to focus on singing and tapping. The timing was always slightly off. Also, some different, more simple and clearly written time signatures would be great as well. Just straight 4/4. And waltz timing, 3/4. Thanks!

First of all, this app doesn't sound like the real guitar (except C and G chords), especially when you play E, F, A & B chords, it sounds very unrealistic and distorted. So, the sound quality is very bad and distorted whereas the main reason to play the guitar is to hear the sound. I think the developer used some pitch shifting techniques to generate artificial sounds of D, E, F, A, B chords from C & G chords (as they sound realistic). The next problem is with the unspecified patterns/rhythms.
