An opportunity seriously missed My Siemens hearing aids are considerably smarter than this app. It seems to be about associating a program with a sound source. It doesn't make this clear and is cumbersome in it's implementation. So I can adjust the sound level for each program/sound source I use. Unfortunately the different sound sources themselves are not equally balanced and I end up either adjusting the volume on the source or directly on the miniTek. The opportunity to adjust bass and treble is lost - no adjustments seem to be implemented. But the biggest missed opportunity is in failing to address the biggest weakness of the miniTek. Primarily a streaming device its about getting sound into my ears. And it does this very well. It fails in the other direction, me issuing voice commands to my phone. I can't initiate a call, it gives no help with dictating memos, reminders or text messages. Those are this issues that need addressing, to make the miniTek a serious companion to the smartphone.... which it needs to do because in every other respect it makes a headset such as the incomparable Jawbone ERA redundant.

Poor I am not sure if it's the minitek or my €3000 Siemens hearing aids but the constant 'beep, beep, beep.......... Beep' every time you switch programs, swipe, or do basically anything is extremely annoying. Why the minitek cannot automatically connect to any of the devices I have it paired to is beyond me. I have a €20 bluetooth headset that has no problem doing this. This app and the minitek is a complete and waste of €400!
