Minna no Guide is your personal audio tour guide. As you walk, ride, or drive, the app detects the sightseeing spots around you and automatically narrates an easy-to-understand audio guide — so you can keep your eyes on the scenery, not your phone.
HOW IT WORKS
Open the map, tap "Start Guide," and put your phone away. When you come close to a spot, the guide begins on its own. It even tells you which way to look — "on your right, just ahead" — based on the direction you're heading.

ABOUT LOCATION
The app uses your location only to find nearby spots and play their audio guides, including in the background so guides can start automatically. Your location is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Recent changes:
• Food spots (about 100,000 nationwide) and Cafés (about 25,000) now appear on the map and in guides.
• Fixed an issue where spots in a category you turned off in Settings were still guided or shown on the map.
• Fixed an issue where landmark pins could be missing from the map in areas with many restaurants.
• Coffee shops and Japanese sweets cafés are now categorized as Cafés.
