Needed for Old SIM... Perfect! Some folks still call or send SMSs to my old PAYG SIM/phone. After a quick search on Google Play, I find this app that will forward details of missed calls and SMS text messages, via email to my GMail account. Better still, it runs on my ancient, never-to-be-used-again (probably) Wildfire S, so I just need to leave it hooked up to a USB power supply, in silent mode, sitting waiting. Mobile data is disabled, and the phone is permanently connected to my home WiFi AP. :-) Top tip - for slightly better security, it's worth setting up a dedicated GMail account for the transmitted emails. This way, you don't have to worry about the app having access to the login credentials of your actual GMail account...

Both missed call and SMS email forwarding works great. The sending gmail account needs to allow Access for less secure apps so you probably want to use a secondary gmail account for sending. Also it would be great to enable/disable the forwarding by sending a special SMS to the phone.

It's working fine, but getting a lot of sms for only 1 missed. Is it required 40-50 sms for only missed call. After uninstall also getting sms... I hate this app.... Until resolve the issue

Why the gmail? I just want to send missed calls notifications to my works email address. Why should I supply gmail account info?
