Mizuu is an easy-to-use media center application for devices running Android 3.2 or newer. Mizuu helps managing all your movie and TV show video files, and automatically downloads information about the video content - including title, plot and cover art. The immersive interface was designed from the ground up with touch devices in mind. As such, it's easy to use and offer lots of customizability for more advanced users.
You can use both video files on your device as well as video files from Samba (CIFS / SMB) compatible network shares, i.e. computers and NAS devices.
Love videos on the web? Mizuu allows you to easily browse the best videos on the day on YouTube and Reddit. Alternatively, you can listen in on the latest amazing talks from the inspiring people at TED Talks. In addition to this, Mizuu allows you to view trailers of all your movies as well as popular and upcoming movies on the web.
Google TV Mizuu includes experimental support for Google TV. Some features might not work as expected, and the UI still needs some improvements to work better on a TV.

Awesome ome Amazing must have app, especially for tablet owners. Like the previous review I use this with cifs and manages to find almost my entire movie collection. with the announcement of xbmc for Android this could have some completion soon. I hope to see more updates. batch adding of unidentified files would be great!!

Works great on Acer Iconia A500 This is as close to XBMC as you can get! Recognized all my movies, downloaded posters, trailers and info works perfectly. (No internal player but links to whatever player you want to use) Only issue I am having is that the app locks after Identifying a movie and I need to back out and restart the app. I've been looking for something similar to XBMC on android for a while now and this is a great app!

bad at correctly matching titles I tried this in conjunction with cifsmanager to connect to my movie collection on my Win7 PC and that worked great. I have about 400 movies, all major hollywood releases, nothing obscure. This app got about 100 movies correct and about 300 wrong, extremely wrong. All my files are in the name format of title (year), eg "The Social network (2010)". For example I have "Airplane (1980).mp4" and it matched it as a 1960's documentary about making paper airplanes. If I manually search without even changing the search string the very first match is the correct one so why didn't it pick that to begin with? XBMC on android handled the same movie collection and only got 5 wrong. App functions good but unless it can do a better job of matching movies, it's useless.
