★★★★★
Seems buggy, and I'm not sure what happens if you submit a video. But it seems worth having just in case needed
★★★★★
With the current problem of police injustice, this app could not be more valuable in keeping yourself and your family safe.
★★★★★
Good app in theory, I thankfully haven't had to use it yet. I'm getting a bunch of odd notifications, at first I assumed it was for testing, but now it's like 20 at a time with just random letters. I've been getting nearly 5 notifications a day and this big bulk of 20 notifications just a few minutes ago actually has me nervous that there's a problem with the app.
★★★★★
Download the app and if you have any contact with law enforcement start recording and let the officers know you are recording for your protection and it's uploaded to the Aclu. The officers will ask you to stop recording be respectful but continue to record. They are more likely to follow protocol and prevent an illegal search, nothing is guaranteed of course Just be real and don't get it twisted if you're violating any laws you will be cited or arrested this app won't save you
★★☆☆☆
Saw police harassing a homeless man lying on his back. So I decided to pull out my trusty ACLU app and record their actions. When I opened the app it asked me to accept updated terms and conditions. Annoying but okay, I checked the box and selected the get started button. Except clicking the button didn't work. I kept pushing the button as the situation escalated and switched to my camera app when police started attacking the prone man. Before I could start recording they had him off the street.
★★☆☆☆
Every time I open this app, or navigate back to the default "filming" page I get a notification that says "your video is on the way!" whether I record anything. I sincerely hope I did not send 6 videos of my bedroom wall to the ACLU! Either way, it's very disconcerting. The tutorial tells what the app does, but doesn't actually tell you how to use it.
