Very useful info for each hike with photos. Pretty clear route map too. Only downside is that I don't see many popular nearby trails listed. Hope the list gets expanded in future updates.

I used to visit the site often years ago to plan hikes as it was very informative and useful, but it eventually lost its touch. This app has regained that touch and made finding and getting to hikes much more convenient than even the old website. It's a must-have for hiking around Los Angeles.

Would be great but app constantly loses my location and then drops me miles from the trail I am on. Would be great if it were reliable. This happened to me when I came to a major fork and couldn't use the app to determine which way to turn. It was a bad situation.

Not only did this not say it was a pay app, but the ONE map it generously allowed me to download for free (to go any further, I have to pay for it) we took the time and trouble to drive to the location, the trail ended up being closed. As soon as I post this I'm deleting the app. I don't recommend it.
