Great app, my IBS was uncontrollable until I had the Monash low fodmap app.

What makes this app so great & worth every penny for me was the "Food Guide" which made it really easy to determine if food was low fodmap or not. You can look up practically any food you could think of, and it will tell you, so that you're not left guessing, which saves you a lot of time & trouble. I also really appreciate the "Recipes" section because it gives you lots of meal ideas so that you're not stuck eating the same meals over and over, which helps keep you sane while on this diet.

This is not worth $9. The food diary is just plain text and not connected to the app's food database, so it's just as effective as writing in a notebook. The search functions in the food database are limited. There's no option to search by the type of carb to locate high FOD MAP foods to use in the challenge/reintroduction phase. You just have to look up every.single.ingredient. The filtering options are probably helpful once you know what you're trying to avoid, but useless in phase 2.

Not worth the price. Not super helpful for a US user. Unorganized food lists. Prioritizes foods and meals that are certified towards the top of searches, but not available to me, locally. The stoplight serving size order or organization is random (sometimes the smallest serving is shown first, sometimes the largest is shown first). Would have been nice to have a free version to explore before dropping the money on the whole thing.
