QUESTIONS
Does it really only hold one note?
One active note at a time, yes. That is the point. Archived notes are kept and can be restored.
How long can a note be?
Up to 180 characters. It is written to be read at a glance from a lock screen, not to become a document.
Can I put a note on my Android lock screen?
Yes. Mononote pins your note to your lock screen as an ongoing note you can dismiss when you are finished. On Android 16 and newer you can turn on Live Updates for it.
Do I need an account?
No. No email, no password, no cloud.
Will it sync to my other phone?
Not today. Mononote is deliberately a single-device, on-device app. Use Export and Import to carry your notes across.
Does it work without internet?
Always.
