I really love the monster hunter games and this game definitely scratches the itch! But the only thing that holds it back is the fact I can't make potions.

I played MH Now, MH3, World and Rise. I really love the game. In Now, we can master all types of weapons easily and the controls are simple. We can hunt with friends at home or outside. Only thing is some weapon designs looks too duplicated. Example the Diablos hammer and Barracuda dual blades. They have more unique and iconic designs in previous Monster Hunter games. Hope can change the designs or add layered weapon for them.

The monetization of this game is getting pretty bad. Also, the stygian zinger would be a fun fight if its ultimate move wasn't an infinite lightning unlockable lag spike. Guaranteed to 1hko you from everywhere on the map at once.

Shame I don't have a base within 20 miles. You won't get any $ from me until there is one. Why would do a road trip to play a walking base game? Fyi, I'm in a city of 90k people.

Pro: Visuals, monsters and weapon design are great. Frequent high quality updates. No ads Con: Monetization is all over the show. No way to earn premium currency, and levels are pointless after the first dozen or so. Time limit for hunts is tiny. The game itself still is running better lately, but connection is still very problematic. The slightest deviation from perfect connection and the game says nope, even at the complete screen, which is abysmal for a walking/gps based game

It's a great game really. The fight is enjoyable, the Pokémon Go style exploration is fun too. Character design is awful though. After a few days playing, I now understand why there's not much people playing this, they can't continue playing because HP potion costs money, that's stupid, it's like shooting yourself in the foot, Ni antic. You should've made hp potion purchasable with zenny, that will keep the players. Will change to 5* if: 1. Can buy potion with zenny 2. Add monster training
