This game gives me major Solo Leveling vibes with how you upgrade your gear as you progress. I love it. Honestly, you don't need to spend real money on potions; the free ones are plenty if you just learn how to dodge the monsters' attacks.

A perfect monster Hunter game for high-end devices, although it lags a bit on rift borne monsters. But I have a request for a training dummy that has attacking mechanics like in the non-mobile games. This way, players can train to dodge, counter or other combo that required timing with a monster's attacks. Overall, great game!

Still the 1 star for pretty weak events that give basic rewards. This game is out for your wallet but is free to play. 5 potions a day isn't enough unless you're willing to fight low star monsters for a year to grind out defense that you shouldn't be, you should focus on weapons since the power creep is actually on the armor. (Edit for May 2026, they read my comment apparently and worked on nothing. Progression is still behind paywalls)

I love Monster Hunter, but don't bother if you don't live in a big city. There are no bases to visit, and you lose out on a lot of gameplay and rewards. The devs don't care if you're not playing in a big city.
