Successor to Slay The Spire and an interesting take on the genre. It brings some innovative mechanics, I really like it. It's starting to lose some appeal after 10–15 plays and the mobile port is a bit clunky, cycling through cards in my hand feels very awkward. I was tempted to give 4 stars but didn't want to bring down the rating because it's genuinely a very good game, and I'm all for supporting good Android games that aren't P2W gacha BS.

This game has inherent issues for a deck building game. The cards are not built equally. Some commons are 10x better than other commons. Same for the other rarities. So we just never pick the bad cards? The artifacts are not built equally. Some are blatantly overpowered like the give steward stats and multistrike. This creates runs where you just beg to high roll else you just lose. Covenant 20+ has way too many rebuffs it is actually such a joke and unplayable.

So many awful bosses who just hard counter builds as fundamental as 'using spells' and makes it impossible to actually enjoy the fun builds it has the potential for. Pale slay the spire imitator with nowhere near the skill in balancing. Also disconnects and needs 5 minutes to fix itself whenever the internet wobbles.

Great game but after buying expansion, expect it to crash almost EVERY TIME YOU PLAY. Plus it's waylay worse....pvp is a pathetic leader board. No actual pvp
