Description

MonTransit effortlessly brings the most relevant transit information to you, including:
- buses, ferries, subways, streetcars & trains schedules (offline & real-time),
- bike stations availability,
- service alerts & the latest news from agencies websites, blogs, Twitter, YouTube…

On the home screen, you can see all nearby route trips next departures as well as nearby bike stations availability in a predictable user interface.
You can access the information any way you want by using the sliding menu (click on the ☰ icon in the upper left corner of the screen or swipe from the left edge of any screen).
For example, you can use the Map screen to discover new bus stops, subway stations, train stations or bike stations. Or you can search for a place by clicking on the 🔍 icon in the upper right corner of any screen.

No Internet? GPS turned off? Wi-Fi disabled? No problem, MonTransit offers multiple ways to find the information you're looking for:
- you can access your ★ favorites or browse all transit information by using the sliding menu (click on the ☰ icon in the upper left corner of the screen or swipe from the left edge of any screen)
- you can enter a route number # or name, stop code # or name, street names... by clicking on the search 🔍 icon in the upper right corner of any screen
- all buses, ferries, subways, streetcars & trains schedule are available offline

MonTransit lets you install the transit agencies that you want (you don't have to switch between cities & you can access all the information any time, anywhere).
The buses, ferries, subways, streetcars & trains information are kept up-to-date through the Play Store auto-updates without using your device's battery or mobile Internet data plan (3G/4G/LTE).

YRT is appreciated. I'm retired and the 50 N/S picks me up right in front of my house. Even though there's no bus stop sighn. My usual trip is from Willow Beach to the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket. 1hr 20 min. A social event, different every time. My goal to walk 10,000 steps & enjoy lunch at the Mall. I have a car & perfect driving record, car, motorcycle, bus, tractor trailer & emergency vehicle but, I prefer the bus, It's inexpensive, and you don't have to put gas in it or clean the windows

Might be one of the few who prefers the look and feel of the app compared to most, but I have some major grievances about the app that makes me not want to use it. I tend to have my location off, so every time I boot the app I am greeted with the please turn location on, which I will not do, since I tend to use the favorite tab for bus times. Second after an update, the default tab is buses from location (which I have off) instead of favorites with no option to change the default.

This app is horrible. The times are never correct and/or the buses are always late. Either way, DO BETTER DURHAM TRANSIT. Trip planner times and what the bus schedule says, are always completely different. Whoever does the coding for this app, needs to be replaced immediately. They can't do their job, and you have customers, freezing outside waiting for a bus that may or may not come. You all work like you get paid less than minimum wage. HOLD THE PERSON ACCOUNTABLE AND FIRE THEM.

Some buses take a long time to pass. For a big city there should be more buses. fewer connections and more straight lings. To go from city to city.
