Played this game nearly every night as a young man in my local TAXI office. Brings back many memories. It seems abit harder, but I cracked it as a teenager, and I will not be giving up until I crack it as a middle-aged man. Tried to buy the original arcade game, but it's not cheap at over a few thousand. Anyway I hope who ever downloads this game enjoys it.

Played this to death growing up, so it was my favorite arcade game. I like this app version but the directional buttons and automatic fire are intrusive in a're too big way. Would prefer a one touch automatic fire and smaller directional buttons, even remove altogether. Still a great game though but does it have the docking bit the original had ? And the meteors that came from both top sides diagonally when you reached a certain level ?

A shame this is so similar but left out the primary gameplay. Ships are supposed to begin by circling left/right in a figure eight before diving. These just immediately go to diving on you. Try again. You could have a hit if you work on it.

The controls are rubbish. It would've been better just to have touch control's instead, plus the game is far too fast, and you're killed too easily. It makes a really boring game. It's a shame as it is a pretty accurate version of the arcade game.

I really had high hopes for this, but it's not quite there. It begins well with the 3 stage ship and the soundtrack exactly as the original. The first waves of attackers look the part too and the erratic movements are as they used to be but that's where the similarities end. As far as I can see you don't get the original third and fourth waves of attack. Monocrystal was always difficult but this version is insanely difficult and never got close to seeing if docking works. Nice try.
