Description
MiND (MOON intelligent Network Device) is much more than a product. It is a way of displaying, listening to, and enjoying your music. MiND technology streams music from your digital music library to your audio system, allowing playback via your amplifier and speakers. Your library can consist of music stored on your computer, on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, or you can simply stream music from a variety of internet sources.
Once your music is organized to your liking, you can play tracks, entire albums, or create playlists. MiND even allows for the use of multiple zones in your home, expanding the enjoyment of this system throughout your home. With MOON systems, you get full control of your home audio.
The concept of MiND is simple: the future of music playback lies in the intuitive organization of a library, allowing for uncomplicated access to large collections of music that are managed with incredible ease-of-use and efficiency. Sophisticated technology is required to achieve such simplicity and enjoyment. Other music streaming devices exist in the marketplace, but none currently encompass all of the features, the simple operation, nor the uncompromised sonic performance of MiND technology.

OK app. Why isn't Spotify available? I have to keep my Blue Sound Node 2 to
play Spotify, and it will also do the first unfold of MQA. Can't wait to
upgrade to MiND2 to get full MQA. Should take a lesson from BlueOS or
Spotify on navigation. Great sound with Tidal.

I held back moving away from my previous Logitech streamer which I used with a Moon 100D mainly because of the reviews here. With the Logitech now so updated I bought a second hand 180D streamer to partner the 100D. App works very well indeed and very consistently, streaming my huge lossless and HiRes album collection from my Synology NAS two floors up via Devolo home plug networking. (All wired /Ethernet). Will later upgrade to the 280 or 390 now I've confidence. App could be improved a bit.

Edit: Now I can edit my Moon 680D, thank you for customers feedback. By the way, I need increase Balanced level output voltage in MIND app setting (for example, by default factory setting is 2.0 Vrms. Now is it can be adjust 4.0 Vrms or 6.0 Vrms)? Need improved app, for example, I want to rename my Moon 680D, but I can not find any place to change it.

It works... Not all the time or on all devices, but still, I could listen to some music. Crashes mostly on my phone. After reorganizing my library, it only sees the newly added files. None of the other that were previously on my NAS. Edit: problems on my phone were caused by my phone (android pie update on moto z2 force - not good for Wi-Fi). Still my library on the Nas looks organized differently on the mind controller. Tried different programs for tagging, etc... OK for tidal and Soyuz.

I've had the app for a few months now running the 380D. While the hardware sounds great, the app still feels like a work in progress, which is somewhat disappointing as I expected a little better considering the cost of Moon's products. I have my unit connected to an Ethernet connection. While the unit continues to play my music, the app on my phone loses connection constantly. Reading other reviews, looks like it's a common issue. Hope Moon releases an update to fix this.

With a $4000 unit, ACE, new, I cannot access the built-in MIND from my smartphone with ease. Very much utterly disheartening regret with this unit.

I couldn't access any of the music services. The response in the app: "Failed to connect TIDAL. Please retry." It is the same with Deezer, HIGHRESAUDIO and Soyuz. I reported the problem and get no reply from MOON by Sim audio. I have returned the MOON ACE. Terrible service!

Update. The internet reports endless problems with the operating app. Moon simply asks each individual to provide further details and have not to my knowledge made any software improvement. This is simply not acceptable given the cost of the equipment. Connectivity is a problem, the app is a shambles, there is no ability to control the unit directly from the Tidal app and the Moon app is awful. Moon owe their customers a software upgrade for better comparability. £3500 wasted & not used anymore
