Comments on MoonCalc org for Android

★★★★★ Prabhu C · Mar 31, 2025

Wonderful app for moon tracing... very helpful for moon worshipers and astronomers.... Timings, altitude and phase of moon is accurate

★★★★★ Rowan Elsey · Apr 14, 2025

For a free app and for those who love to be there at the perfect time to watch the full moon rise over the ocean, this is an excellent app. I use SunCalc a lot too

★★★★★ Brian W · May 19, 2026

Been using to estimate the position of the full moon for planned night swims. Has been extremely helpful

★★☆☆☆ Kristoffer Röine Larsson · Feb 7, 2026

I love the app and use it all the time for moon shots, but the recent zoom behavior is frustrating. Now, when pressing +/- zoom, the view jumps away from the selected point instead of staying centered, as it did before. For photographers who rely on precise framing, this makes planning much harder. Please consider restoring the previous zoom behavior or adding an option to keep the zoom anchored to the selected point.

★☆☆☆☆ Spencer Mathews · Apr 8, 2026

Moonrise time is wrong by almost an hour. Using the time slider the actual correct time has the expected altitude and the shape change of the moon in the illustration.

★☆☆☆☆ Stephen Green · Aug 14, 2025

I tried to install this, but it kept telling me I had no Internet connection when it was obvious that I had a perfect connection.
