Calling Moose – Whether you glass in the mountains, stalk on foot or drift in a boat, moose calling can help you to locate and even attract a bull moose. Many hunters use a combination of four basic sounds:
Antler scraping on trees and shrubs in early September
Pre-rut bull “gluck” in early September
Bull challenge, or “mu-wah” in mid-September
Cow call, a nasal melodic whine, late in September

My son has this app on his apple phone with cover it sounded sick. That night I loaded it on my Samsung without cover. Next day seen two cows run from rivers edge to the trees. Stopped the boat dropped anchor started calling and played with those cows for 2hrs. Before they ran off. Next 2 weeks using this app was a blast. However it seemed to work best if placed in a 3lbs coffee can. We were able to call in a 62 in Kook bull. Thanks to this one app, one bullet, one freezer full. Rate this 8.

App has some excellent sounds, for moose anyway, that is what I tested it on, some of the sounds are poorly recorded or have a hint too much of human in them, but the ones that count are good, like the "long cow" "soft cow" and so forth. Overall although I'm satisfied and the only real qualm I have with this app is the fact that the calls start glitching out on me after an hour or two of use, causing undesirable sounds (god awful for hunting) forcing a phone restart and paring **more noise**

My father and I were hunting, used moose call app. Big bull moose walked 50 wards from us, by the time dad got out of truck loaded the rifle the moose walked away.

Absolutely terrible! #1. Make sure you have your internet turned off or an ad will cut in mid-call and ruin your hunt in seconds. #2. Any hunter who has experience with calling in a moose knows if you cut off a call before it's completely finished and the sound just cuts off any moose that could hear it is moving away and not coming back. Several of the calls on this ap do just that and cut off mid-sound. #3. Most of the calls have a "computer digital" or fake sound.

If you have cell coverage get ready to have an ad blow out at some point in moving around on the app. Moose are really impressed by a laundry detergent ad blasting through an amplified blue tooth speaker. Put it on flight mod while using. I deleted before I tried that, so I don'tknow if the sounds are loaded on the phone or cell coverage is needed. I don't think the calls are real and may be some dude calling. I didn'ttspend enough time with it to know. The ads pi22ed me off enough to delete it.
