Using S10, go to settings > locations > app locations > morimoto xbt > see all morimoto xbt locations > set location, storage, phone to allowed. Works for me now.

Using a note 10 plus. Absolutely great app, easy to use and just spot on! Maybe darker meaner colors would be great. But still 5 stars for me. I recommend downloading the xbt PDF online Manuel for any troubleshooting

Works perfectly so far. It will not pair right out of the box. You have to enable the location for the app in your SETTINGS. MAKE SURE to ground the wires from the drivers, or it'll look dim, and it won't change colors. It was just a little inconvenience but nothing major.

Phone dependant, lack of abilities, I made an ESP32 able to connect and get full control of the lights, can add music abilities, change colors at will even with pots and buttons, or via CAN bus communication. Best part is reconnected is really fast and color retention is retained. This opens up the XBT controller to be more controlled by the user without requiring a phone. Also, the location in the app is fishy, because I see it connects to baidu servers, lucky I don't have that running on my phone

(If ur having trouble connecting go into app permissions and allow app permissions for all 3 spots. (should now pair on XBT startup). COME ON MORIMOTO UPGRADE THIS APP!!! USERS PICK COLOR ON THEME WAVE PATTERN IT DISPLAYS+if it's solid, strobe,or fades. Needs a default color set for turn on not white always. You sell rgb lights for cars but have the worst app that barely controls the rgb lights you sell. This app must be upgraded u can afford it!!!
