Welp... This app turned my almost 5-year-old Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra into a mini SLR camera. No joke. The quality is not something to laugh at. In fact, it left me shocked how good the videos can end up on such sensor in a phone when given its full potential. Honestly the best combo and the app in general someone can have. Bravo lads!

Best video recording app on the planet. Far better quality than the default camera app, even on the direct log mode. You don't even need to record RAW videos to beat the stock camera app

Amazing RAW video and photo camera app. I would like some kind of shutter priority mode where the ISO automatically adjusts whilst the shutter speed stays the same. UI is kinda confusing, there are settings all over the place. Some settings are not explained well. Autofocus and focus locking features might need work. Switching lenses is pretty annoying, requires 2 taps the second tap will be inside a big menu and not near the button. Lenses could be layed out on the side or in a dropdown menu.

Don't get it if you have a Linux computer. None of the apps work with Linux. The fuse app is not maintained and no longer works. The MCraw tools is not available for Linux and you cannot use bottles or wine to run it on Linux Because when you do it that way, the app does not recognize any file or folder on your computer. They also say use da Vinci Resolve to process the dng files which does not work on my Linux machine, because da Vinci Resolve does not recognize any DNG file or even MPEG file.

Loved Motion Cam for 4+ months, but the June 24, 2026, update ruined performance on my Nothing Phone 3a Pro. I'm seeing a 40–70% performance drop. Before: Open Gate 24fps, HEVC 10-bit, 75Mbps, S-Log3 with only 3–7 dropped frames/min. Now: 4K 24fps, HEVC 8-bit, 50Mbps still gets 50–100 dropped frames. Please fix this regression or let us roll back to the previous version.
