Description
ELD COMPLIANCE The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy. It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate. Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD). Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations. Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day. Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.
TRACKING & TELEMATICS When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.
DRIVER SAFETY Review Motive Dashcam videos and safety events to understand driving performance. See your DRIVE risk score, a benchmark against Motive’s entire network of vehicles.
DISPATCH & WORKFLOW Confirm and receive assigned dispatches. View important load details and manage tasks for active deliveries. Review past dispatches. Message your fleet manager or dispatcher directly through the Motive Driver App. Upload important documents, like bills of lading or accident photos.

Are you kidding about safety, driving recording scores, speeding??? Update the roads' driving speed on your map, I'm always getting speeding because you don't know the street speed limit, which is 35mph but not 10mph as is in your app...

Can't do a pre trip on a vehical not equipped with an eld or added to the fleet. I had to drive a new truck that hadn't been added yet back from out of town. I was stranded without a way to do a pre trip, and I had to go across scales. Secondly, if the duty status shows on duty every single day with no breaks or sleep for 2 weeks the app should auto set my status to off duty. If that can't be done add a way to batch edit duty statuses FFS

I'm dropping my review score to 1, as there's a serious bug with this app where it does not give you any notifications for upcoming or current violations. I double-checked with my co-worker who has an iPhone and the Motive app there is the same, it fails to give notifications for any upcoming or current violations. I submitted feedback mobths ago, Case ID 10050617 and still waiting for a resolution. UPDATE: Motive said they don't send notifications for violations unless you're driving... flawed
