ELD COMPLIANCE The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy. It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate. Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD). Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations. Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day. Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.
TRACKING & TELEMATICS When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.

I'm Mad about the new update. If you don't change you status as soon as you stop driving. It forces you to lose 5 minutes of your drive time. E-log is supposed to be accurate to the minute. I stop. It shouldn't count it as drive time. Somebody screwed it up a while back.

As a company driver I've used a few different ELD systems. Keep Trucking was the first one I had used before it changed to Motive and as by far been my favorite. The easiest to use and understand. I'm thankful my current company absolutely loves motive and has no intentions of changing.

Eld supposed to start recording your drive time automatically, but it doesn't. And when it does start recording the drive time to jumps out of it by itself and just put you on duty. And when you call support team they can't really help you do anything but get you to pull your truck over and want you to turn your ignition on off

The important times that are displayed are often incorrect. Including when you toggle between the four clocks or the one clock. To get an accurate time I have to restart the app. Big distraction. In motive defense I have not used an eld on a device that did not suck.

This app is absolute garbage! The fact that you are actually being paid by companies, including the one I drive for, is laughable. You're stealing money essentially. The app seems to not log duty changes anymore. Recently I had a 10 stop delivery day, and when I got back to our yard and the end of day, I had a drive time violation because your lovely app left me in driving THE ENTIRE TIME! Like another reviewer said, you have no way of challenging a violation! Absolute TRASH!
