'Movie Monsters' is an App designed to demonstrate how a visit to any Movie Theatre can become a hybrid ‘e-Gaming / Storytelling’ experience - the movie becomes the canvas upon which the story is told, while the featured monsters and demons then emerge from the screen to be battled in real life using just your mobile phone!

Published by Second Screen Entertainment Ltd, and using a ‘first person shooter’ game mechanic, Movie Monsters in turn demonstrates how to unlock incremental value from movie catalogues, using our patented gaming/mapping technology to give iconic films a second life in cinemas as ‘Immersive Interactive Events’.

Without adjusting any aspect of a movie, our proprietary ‘AR Enhanced’™ contextual mapping technology for auditoriums, cloud-based ‘CinAdmin’™ controller (to co-ordinate and schedule interactive elements), and companion ‘AR Mobile Games’add the dimension of synchronised, themed game-play, breaking down barriers between the screen and audience. This evolves any narrative from a ‘passive’ to an ‘active’ audience experience, while helping to shape not just how stories are ‘seen’, but how they are experienced and ‘lived’.
