No upside-down rotation. If the correct orientation in the car is not possible, the upside-down button is necessary. Just add the button, it is not an enormous job to do.

Only works once in a while, Wi-Fi sees camera but Wi-Fi button in app non-responsive

You have wait maybe minute and sixteen seconds for camera to connect via Wi-Fi through your phone can't use Hotspot. The lag time is horrible. There's no way to trigger the camera to let you no you're in reverse... So I'm suggested you go with wire version. The only good things is you can record and take pictures if you can get connected.
