Description
The Magic the Gathering to Dungeons & Dragons converter is an app that can easily convert a Magic card into a 5e D&D Monster’s sheet - no more than a click is needed!
Note that the converter, for obvious reasons, can only convert CREATURE cards into D&D monsters.
The projects started as a joke but ends up being a useful tool for both Magic and D&D fans, expecially for the dungeon masters. With this tool a card of your collection can turn into a challenging creature for your party – with no more effort that just a click!
A little part of the information provided by the application can be found on the 5.1 version of the System Reference Document (SRD) and are bound by the terms of the 1.0a version of the Open Gaming License (OGL) from Wizards of the Coast (WotC).

I'm in no ways affiliated to Wizards of the Coast. I have no rights neither on the Magic the Gathering cards, text and arts (the artist's name is reported at the bottom of each monster image to give credits to its own author), nor on the Dungeons & Dragons brand. This software was designed only to create a funny tool for both Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons fans, but I have no rights on the original products that are owned by the Wizard of the Coast company.
The software make use of the Scryfall tools to access their card database via HTML, but the Scryfall company is not involved in any way in the project. In one word: As part of the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy, I used their card data and image database for creating an additional Magic software.

Fascinating! I wish there was an offline mode & I do wish it displayed the "un-" sets in the set lists, ( unglued'98 unhinged'04 unstable'17 unsanctioned'20 infinity'22) Now the cards are all in their like for example you do have "panic" & "skull saucer" from unstable (2017) when you search for them, but it would be nice to have them in the set list also, very neat app tho, ive been using these as a basis for some encounters already, cheers for that (+do U plan to add spells? That could be fun)

Mtg creatures given d&d monster stats? Neat! Tho the description is a bit misleading since the app doesn't convert mtg cards into dnd stats, the dev has already done so & the app is mereley a viewer for it, likely with an algorithm since some don't mach the card (ex: an axe wielding orc being given a lance attack) but these are still fun with some tweaks from the DM. some things that would be cool to add: an offline mode, silver boarder sets being added to the set list, & planes walker stats

It is very good. I put my favorite cards like loopy lobster and it came up. The dnd stat sheet was accurate like how in magic loopy lobster evolves, and he did in the stat block

This app is non-functional. The idea is solid, but unfortunately the random card section never loads a card. Card lookup gives an error "Card not found!" even when searching cards that exist in the previews on the website. Set lists continuously show loading, while never actually populating.

Doesn't work anymore. The cards don't show up at all or randomly generate. The app might be bugged or down.

This app worked great until recently. Now the app doesn't load any cards or monsters in any way, shape, or form. I worry that it was shutdown without notice.

Used to decent... now it's like the database has been erased... Will redo my review when/if access to the database is brought back. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled several times since this started happening...

This app DID work, but not anymore, I tried to search for a card and said it's not found, and it won't load sets.
