MudBuddy

MudBuddy is your pottery companion. Track every piece from wet clay to finished work, and stay connected to your studio the whole way.
Pottery first. We handle the rest.

EVERY PIECE, ITS WHOLE STORY
Give each piece a name and a photo, and follow it through greenware, bisque, glaze and completion. Add photos at every stage, jot notes as you work, and record the clay, forming method, weight and size. Months later, when you want to make that bowl again, everything you did is right there.

YOUR STUDIO IN YOUR POCKET
If your studio runs on MudBuddy, submit pieces for firing straight from your phone: scan a tile, drop your piece off, and pay in the app. You will know when your piece goes into the kiln, what it was fired to, and the moment it is out and waiting for you. No more wondering which shelf your work is on.

ADVICE THAT KNOWS CLAY
Ask MudBuddy anything: cracking handles, glaze fit, drying troubles, kiln questions. It knows your pieces, your clay and your glazes, so the answers fit your actual work, not someone else's.

RECORD YOUR SURFACE DECORATION
Log each slip, underglaze, glaze and finish: the material, where it went, how many coats. Your decoration record becomes your own recipe book.

UNDERSTAND YOUR MAKING
Insights show your production over time, your most used clays and glazes, your firing costs down to the cent, and how long your pieces take from first touch to finished.

PRICE WITH CONFIDENCE
Add up what a piece really cost, choose your markup, and know what your work is worth.

FIRE AT HOME TOO
Track your own kilns, save firing schedules, and log every firing from loading to unloading.

MudBuddy is free to use: track every piece, with a photo and notes on each, and connect to your studio at no cost. MudBuddy Premium adds up to ten photos on every piece, the full decoration record, unlimited chat, insights, piece pricing and home kilns, with your first month free.
