Multiengine Rating Checkride

Using a question-and-answer format, Multiengine Rating Checkride lists the questions most likely to be asked by examiners during the last step in the multiengine rating certification process--the practical test--and provides succinct, ready responses. Pilots will find this app an indispensable tool in planning for what to expect during the multiengine airplane checkride and mastering the subject matter. Instructors rate it as excellent preparation for students, as well as general refresher material.

This Multiengine Rating Checkride app is based on the popular Multiengine Rating Oral Exam Guide, by Jason Blair. It is designed for applicants training for a multiengine rating on their pilot certificate. More than 350 questions and responses ensure the subjects tested on during checkrides and review flights are covered. The app aligns with the Airman Certification Standards (ACS), with content on multiengine operations, aerodynamics, inoperative engine procedures, aircraft systems, and maneuvers. Additional checklists, briefing guidelines, and resources for understanding aircraft performance, limitations, and minimum equipment lists make this the complete resource to prepare applicants for the FAA Multiengine Land checkride. Questions can be marked for further study from any subject to build your own collection of flashcards.

This app teaches applicants not only what to expect, but also how to exhibit subject mastery and confidence when under the examiner’s scrutiny. It identifies candidates’ strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in their aeronautical knowledge, which increases study efficiency.
