Excellent mycology app, using it regularly now while out and about and learning a lot about these marvelous fungi that I've been finding everywhere as far back in my memory banks than I can comprehend! Love the way the app learns and teacher me along or way together we all myco-remediate this poor old precious planet of ours and all the others out there in the infinite and magical myco-multiverse! What a wonderful world full of worlds this is! As Above so Below to achieve the wonders of the One!

The only free app that gives accurate info. Very easy app to use.

This app allows the identification of unknown mushrooms two ways, plus has appropriate warnings to minimize the probability of error. It's worked well for me. I'm looking forward to the fall mushroom season now that I'm armed with this valuable tool.

So great to find a totally free mushroom identifier. The only downside is that the location is US based. Great app.

This app is straight trash. Instead of identifying, it just shows random mushrooms that are not even close.
★☆☆☆☆Jim DeSilva· Apr 24, 2025
In its current state this app is worthless. It would be a lot better if it asked more questions such as growing substrate, location, time of year. Also, when the results are given the user needs more than a picture and name, full description of all mushroom rates should be given, so user can sort out the results. As it is now you are asking the user to ID the mushroom for YOU by a single picture. I hope you find this useful.
